DUTIES:

• Assist instructional and resource personnel with the presentation of learning materials and in the conduct of instructional and training activities.

• Tutors individuals and small groups of students with special learning needs to reinforce and follow up learning and training activities.

• Monitors and assists students with special learning needs in drill, practice, and study activities as a follow-up to the presentation of instructional lessons by instructional and resource personnel.

• Assist with the preparation of learning materials.

• Maintains a variety of record, files, and information.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 48 completed units from an accredited college or university or an A.A. Degree or passing score on the district's equivalency exam.

• Oral, reading, and writing fluency in both English and Spanish (preferred).

• Knowledge of child development and behavior characteristics.
