Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Academic Support Coordinator and Campus Dean of Students,the RtI Interventionist will support, and monitor students to ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable learning environment. The RTI interventionist will support students in a combination of push-in and pull-out intervention groups as designated by the Academic Support Coordinator and classroom teachers. Duties will include assurance of student safety at all times, including during lunch and recess. The individual will approach this role with an entrepreneurial spirit, embracing creativity, leadership, innovation, and technology and the practice of Steven Covey's Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. The individual will establish an effective rapport with students and other staff members, so that pupils may meet or exceed the California Common Core State Standards, each according to their ability.
