Requirements / Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent AND: * Completion of at least two years of college or university work in social sciences or related field * Three years of experience working with students and families in a student-focused or social services field (preferred) * Bilingual ability in Spanish and English (highly desirable). Comfortable engaging with diverse educational partners * Work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and evenings * Must have a valid California driver’s license and be insurable. Utilize own vehicle for transportation as needed. * Two (2) recent letters of reference. * To be considered all requirements must be attached when submitting application
Applicants must successfully complete each part of the examination process in order to be considered further. WRITTEN TEST: TBD– TIME TO BE DETERMINED. TIME & DATE MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. (PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL FOR AN INVITATION TO TEST). SCORING: Written examination will carry a weight of 100%. All examinations must be passed with 75% or better. An eligibility list will be in effect for 6 months or until less than 3 applicants remain on the list. If FIVE (5) permanent employees from the Lancaster School District demonstrate the ability to meet the job qualifications, the position will be filled on a promotional basis.
