Job Summary
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, organize and facilitate specialized activities in support of the After School Program at an assigned location. Coordinate and implement various student and family service; assist with student and staff placement and development; and coordinate flow of communication and information.
Requirements / Qualifications
Required: High school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of six months working with children in an educational and/or management setting. Additionally, ONE of the following is preferred: 1) Transcripts showing two years of study at an institute of higher education equivalent to 48 semester units; or 2) A. A. degree (or higher), or 3) California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST); or 4) Paraeducator Exam Certificate (demonstrating knowledge of, and the ability to, assist in the instruction of reading, writing and mathematics.)
