Job Summary
Works independently under the general supervision of the ELOP Coordinator to operate and maintain an after school program outlined in State and Federal law. ELOP lead, under the direction of the ELOP coordinator or designee, is responsible to develop and implement a curriculum and maintain an environment that is safe, appropriate and meets the individual needs of the children enrolled in the program. Responsible for the direct supervision of all children enrolled in any TK through Grade 6 after school programs, as well as overseeing direct supervision of all staff, staff schedules, and site resources for all assistant staff members. Facilitates and maintains program organization through appropriate and accurate record keeping and reporting requirements. Assures implementation of quality standards for the Expanded Learning Opportunity Programs.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education / Certification: 1. High school diploma or the equivalent, and 2. Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction. 3. CPR/First aid certification is required within 4 weeks of hiring date. 4. Must possess a valid ServSafe manager certification.(Upon Hire)
