Job Summary
Tulare City School District is now accepting applications for the position of Vice Principal (Elementary) for the 2024/25 school year. Under the Supervision of the Site Principal, works with the site principal and staff to support instructional programs at the school site. Organizes, coordinates, and administers assigned programs and activities related to student discipline, attendance, and instruction. Assists the Principal with administrative duties involving student conduct, curriculum development, and school plant operations as assigned. To act as co-administrator with the school principal performing duties as assigned by the principal involving major portions of school operation and to assume administrative responsibility for the school in the absence of the principal. Applicants must possess or obtain a valid California Clear, Preliminary or Intern Administrative Services Credential by July 2024 or be eligible to enter into an Administrative Services Credential program. Leadership experience preferred. A master’s degree in educational administration or closely related field from an accredited college or university is desired. Work year is 200 days. Based on years of experience, salary range is $112,650 - $142,092 plus fringe benefits. Salary and work year is under review by the board.
