Our District serves an area that spans 20 square miles of Fresno County and encompasses a population base of more than 16,500. Our family consists of four elementary schools, one junior high school, one comprehensive high school, one continuation school and one adult school. District enrollment is slightly under 3,500 students. POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Superintendent or designee, the Director of Athletics is tasked with coordinating the athletic programs for all school sites at Parlier Unified School District (PUSD). The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and sustain a cohesive and comprehensive athletic program for all schools within the PUSD. The Director's key objectives include: Building the athletic department's capacity to support the diverse needs of all students. Ensuring that all athletic programs are effectively supported to promote student excellence and enjoyment in their competitions. Ensuring compliance with all relevant federal, state, and district regulations.

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience preferred A minimum of three (3) years of coaching experience is required at the varsity and/or college levels; experience working with a diverse student population is desired. Master's Degree desired; bilingual skills desired. In-depth working knowledge of all sports = LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS Valid credential authorizing services as a California Teacher required. Valid California Class C Driver’s License Possession of valid CPR and first aid cards, and practical experience under the supervision of an athletic coach or trainer, with experience assisting team athletic training and conditioning. Possession of valid First Aid and CPR Certificates
