Requirements / Qualifications
Education and/or Experience: 1. High School Diploma or the equivalent; and 2. 2 years of college (48 units + ), or Associate's degree (A. A.) or higher; 3. or 2-3 years experience in a school setting working with children, and 4. Pass a local assessment of reading and math skills. Experience working in a school environment a plus.
Competency test will be administered to all qualified applicants. Must apply through EdJoin and upload attachments named exactly as stated (i.e., Letter of Recommendation) in order to be considered for this position.

This Instructional Aide will assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction on various subjects to individual or small groups of students in a classroom or other learning environment; assist teachers with the preparation of instructional materials; tutor students in assigned subject areas. If you have experience working with small groups of students either assisting a teacher or as a tutor this position is for you. Review the job description for a full list of duties and responsibilities.

* Upon hire may need to provide supporting Education documentation (College units, AA or higher Degree, certificate copy) if required by position or claimed on application.
