4th-5th Grade Educator San Carlos Charter (SCC), a progressive K-8 charter school located in San Carlos, is seeking a 1.0 FTE 4th-5th Grade Multi-age Classroom Educator. The San Carlos Charter (SCC), in San Carlos, CA, is a progressive, public K-8 independent charter school that educates learners to be independent thinkers as well as socially conscientious and responsible citizens. SCC is the longest running charter school in California! We are currently seeking an enthusiastic 1.0 FTE 4th/5th grade educator who is highly collaborative, flexible, and values a warm and safe learning environment. SCC instruction is based on the constructivist learning theory and values social emotional learning. The 4/5 team supports one another in designing and implementing a curriculum that meets the needs of all learners. A successful candidate will work in a team setting with the other 4th - 5th grade educators to provide an inquiry based, hands on approach to educating learners in a multi-age setting.
