
Human Resources Technician (Confidential Position) at Anaheim Elementary School District (TK-6)

Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION INCLUDE: • Graduation from high school or its equivalent, supplemented by college level course work in personnel management or related field. • Three years of increasingly responsible human resources experience, including familiarity with recruiting practices; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. • Knowledge of District organization, operations, policies, and objectives involving certificated and classified positions, including recruitment, testing and selection. • Knowledge of record-keeping techniques, research methods and data analysis techniques. • Knowledge of correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation and vocabulary. • Knowledge in State Education Code and fair employment laws, rules, and regulations related to the processing of personnel. • Ability to operate a computer and other modern office equipment, use word processing, spreadsheet, and other office software programs. • Ability to perform complex and technical duties related to employee recruitment, selection, negotiations, testing, processing and other human resource functions involving the District’s staff. • Ability to read and interpret transcripts; interpret, apply and explain District rules, regulations, policies and procedures. • Ability to plan and organize work, maintain complex and confidential records and files. • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
