Position Summary: Valley Charter Elementary School is looking for a part time special education assistant who will work with students under the supervision of the RSP teacher 5 days a week. Candidates must be able to work from 8 to 2:40 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday and from 8 to 1 on Thursday. Responsibilities Under the supervision of the RSP teacher, work with students with IEPS in the classroom for academic and behavior support Take notes during or after sessions so you can monitor and share student progress with the RSP teacher Create a positive, safe and healthy learning environment Requirements / Qualifications Experience working in an elementary school or with elementary school aged students Experience working with students with special needs SALARY AND BENEFITS: Pay is $25/hour Benefits available HOW TO APPLY: To apply, send a resume and cover letter to Elizabeth Adams eadams@valleycharterschool.org.
