Job Summary
To supervise all cafeteria staff and operations. To work cooperatively with the food services consultant. To assist in management, coordination, and operation of the food services program. To administer and recommend policies and procedures for the District Food Service program. To administer and recommend policies and procedures for the District Wellness Policy.
Requirements / Qualifications
SERV Safe Certificate is required. A valid Class C California Driver’s License. Evidence of appropriate insurance may be required. A valid First Aid and CPR Certificate may be required. Education: Any combination of education, training and/or experience equivalent to one or more of the following: Bachelor’s degree in student nutrition management, business management, or similar field. Registered Dietitian with at least two (2) years experience in management of school nutrition program OR Associates degree with academic major or concentration in food services, dietetics, nutrition education or similar field and at least five (5) years of experience in management of school nutrition program.

Four years of progressively responsible supervisory experience including two years service as a cafeteria manager.
Experience in quantity food preparation, cooking and serving, food ordering and estimation.
