The Site Director oversees the ProYouth Expanded Learning Program at an elementary, middle or high school school site. The program is intended to encourage a culture of learning by providing students with the knowledge, skills, and resources for academic and personal success. Programming may occur inside or outside of the classroom during expanded learning hours. A Site Director is responsible for the planning, implementation, and oversight of programming including the supervision of program staff who work directly with students. Under supervision from the Area Program Manager, a Site Director trains and evaluates staff, and works closely with school administration, faculty, parents, and students to ensure that programming meets the needs of the school and its students as well as the policies of the California and/or Federal Department of Education.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience o A bachelor’s degree is preferred. o Minimum of two year’s supervisory experience o High School diploma or equivalent AND o 48 completed College Units OR o NCLB Paraprofessional Certification o Experience working with students (high school) preferred. General Requirements o Must be at least 18 years of age or older. o Must pass a DOJ/FBI background check. o Must receive TB clearance. o Must pass pre-employment drug screening. o A valid California Driver License and proof of adequate auto insurance coverage is required. You must be listed as a covered driver on the policy.
