Requirements / Qualifications

Ed-Join Classified Application. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school and four years increasingly responsible experience in financial record-keeping. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS: The following documents are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment: Department of Justice Fingerprint clearance, Tuberculosis Skin Test clearance & Pre-Employment Physical/Drug Screen clearance will be required prior to employment. Must be at least 18 years of age.

BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the HR Financial Services Manager, perform responsible and complex technical functions pertaining to the employee leave reporting management system. This job class is responsible for the record keeping and complex calculations of employee time management as it relates to compliance with bargaining unit contracts, SCOE policies, procedures and regulations, California Education Code, and Federal/State laws. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and four years increasingly responsible experience in financial record-keeping. College level coursework in accounting or related field and experience in a County Office of Education, school district or public agency is desirable. BENEFITS: A Benefit Entitlement for health, dental and vision coverage is available for positions that are at least 4 hours per day. The amount of the entitlement is based on the number of hours worked per day.
