Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Director Communications, the Coordinator Visual Media is responsible for overseeing the creation, management and dissemination of captivating visual media content to promote awareness and understanding of Twin Rivers Unified School District. The Coordinator Visual Media will work closely with various departments to understand their visual communication needs and ensure that content produced aligns with the District brand identity and objectives. The Coordinator Visual Media will develop visually compelling content, including graphics, videos, animations and other materials to support district-wide initiatives, events and educational programs and school activities.

Experience and Education Bachelor’s degree in an art-related major such as videography, photography, multimedia/digital communications, marketing, media, communications or similar field is required (documented by a strong portfolio that includes a wide range of video and photo examples). Minimum of three years of related experience is required. Experience in an education setting or other nonprofit environment is preferred. Licenses and Certifications Possession of a valid California Class C driver's license and proof of insurance are required. Personal transportation for job-related travel. Twin Rivers Unified School District is the 27th largest school district in California by enrollment, according to the California Department of Education. We serve approximately 27,000 students who come from families that speak 46 languages.
Our district includes four comprehensive high schools, five middle schools and 29 elementary schools. Twin Rivers also offers families the option of two alternative high schools, two special education centers, an independent learning center, a community day school, an opportunity school, preschools, three dependent charter schools and Twin Rivers Adult School.
Twin Rivers serves an 82 square mile area covering the communities of Arden Fair, Del Paso Heights, Dos Rios, Elverta, Foothill Farms, Gardenland, McClellan Park, Natomas, Northgate, North Highlands, North Sacramento, Robla, Rio Linda and Woodlake.
