Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate kindergarten teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of early primary education and the ability to effectively communicate concepts to students in a way that is engaging and accessible. They will instruct students in various subjects according to school curriculum and standards, help to foster spiritual growth of students, and create a safe and inclusive learning environment that aligns with the Catholic faith. Key Responsibilities: 1. Curriculum Delivery - Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and instructional goals. - Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities. - Incorporate Catholic teachings and values into lesson plans and classroom activities. 2. Classroom Management - Maintain a well-organized and stimulating learning environment conducive to academic success and personal growth. - Establish and enforce classroom rules and expectations consistent with Catholic principles of respect, compassion, and responsibility. - Foster a sense of community and cooperation among students through collaborative activities and group projects. 3. Student Assessment and Progress Monitoring - Assess student learning through a variety of formative and summative assessments. - Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents to support their academic growth and development. - Monitor student progress and intervene as needed to address individual learning needs and challenges. 4. Communication and Collaboration - Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and academic concerns. - Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to enhance the overall educational experience and promote a cohesive school culture. - Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Primary Education, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). 2. Valid teaching certification/license 3. Proficiency in Catholic teachings and a commitment to integrating faith into the curriculum. 4. Prior experience teaching in a Catholic school or familiarity with Catholic education principles (preferred). 5. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. 6. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive school culture. 7. Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
