Facilities and Operations Coordinator Position Description Overview Stone Ridge Christian is a Pre-K-12 school with a tradition of faith and excellence in Merced, County, CA. We are seeking a Coordinator of Facilities and Operations who will build upon the existing mission and standards of the School. The perfect candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our facilities maintenance and operations. The duties include budget management, periodically inspects facilities and informs administrators/directors of custodial responsibilities and schedules maintenance of items. Trains or arranges for training of maintenance and grounds personnel as needed. Inspects all facilities annually, makes recommendations for major repairs and renovations of facilities and performs small repairs and is capable of substituting for positions when staff are out. The Coordinator reports to the Business Services Administrator as a daily supervisor and the Facilities as well as the Facilities and Operations Committee. Personal Qualifications: * Be deeply committed to a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ. * Spend time daily in personal devotions and prayer. * Follow Matthew 18 Principle in dealing with student-athletes, coaches, faculty, parents and administration. * Motivate students to accept God’s gift of salvation and to grow in their faith. * Work collaboratively with various staff. * Be capable of balancing and prioritizing workload to successfully execute goals in a timely manner. * Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with staff, vendors, contractors, stakeholders and the Board. Qualifications & Requirements
Strong advocate for Christian education and be a member in good standing of a
local church.
• Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of such specialized cleaning and/or maintenance practices, procedures, and equipment as may be required by job assignment.
• Sufficient physical strength and agility to perform a variety of routine manual
tasks in the care, cleaning and general maintenance of landscape, buildings and
equipment.
• Must pass a D.O.J. Background check.
• Must pass a TB Test.
