Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum of three years’ experience in a special education program specialist or equivalent role. Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university required. Valid California Administrative Credential required; valid PPS or teaching credential required; and valid California driver's license. **Internal SVUSD applicants do not need to submit letters of recommendation.**

Valid California credential authorizing service in pupil personnel services; valid California administrative credential (proof of completed administrative credentialing program pending posting from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing or proof of concurrent enrollment in administrative credentialing program with completion within 2 years and possession of a valid California driver’s license. Licensure in social work (LCSW), professional clinical counseling (LPCC) or marriage and family therapy (LMFT) strongly desired.
