
TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT SYSTEMS MANAGER at Covina-Valley Unified School District
Requirements / Qualifications
The Vacancy: There is one full-time, 12 month permanent position in the District Office. This recruitment will also be used to fill future vacancies and substitute/temporary positions in this classification for up to six months. The Position: To manage, plan, organize, supervise and coordinate computer and network system activities and operations of the Technology Support Services Department (TSS) including database administration, and mainframe and other computer systems operations; scheduling, control, distribution, and data processing support, to manage program applications; to coordinate assigned activities with other divisions, departments and outside agencies, and to provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to the District's Chief Business Officer.
Required Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or university course work in computer science, Information systems, data communications business administration or a related field, and three years of increasingly responsible computer technology and data processing program management experience including one year of administrative and supervisory equipment. Selection Procedure: The selection process will consist of a written exam and a qualifications appraisal interview (each weighted 50%). The following must be attached to with the Edjoin application:
