Job Summary
Basic Functions: Under the direction of the Superintendent or Designee, provides coordination and oversight of school-based mental health and wellness services as a member of a school team; provides direct mental health and wellness services and case management to students and families; assists in the development and delivery of school-wide mental health and wellness interventions, programs, and trainings; provides clinical supervision, consultation, and technical assistance to assigned interns/associates and student interns/trainees to ensure the delivery of a clinically sound comprehensive program; performs other related duties as assigned. Knowledge Of: - Professional and ethical standards and practices. - Multiple appropriate therapeutic approaches for identified student needs. - General understanding of child development. - Needs of special education students.
Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: - Valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPS); or Marriage and Family Therapy License (MFT); or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); or Clinical Social Work (MSW); Educational Psychologist; Licensed/Educational Psychologist; or equivalent (Please see important comments below for additional information about the position and the setting) REQUIRED APPLICATION MATERIALS: Only candidates that forward a complete application packet will be considered.
