Hours: 6 hours per day and 30 hours per week Rancho Cotate High School is committed to providing a high - quality education to our diverse student body. We achieve our goals through a challenging curriculum, quality teachers, and an atmosphere that emphasizes communication and cooperation. Together, these elements create a safe and engaging learning environment in which all students can excel. Technology High School is a science, technology, engineering, and math focused college preparatory magnet school. The school was founded in 1999 as part of the Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District.Our vision is to develop critical and creative thinking skills within students in a small learning community environment. Key program components include: project-based and applied learning, integrated and thematic instruction and teamwork. The Technology High School community is proud of its accomplishments. In its short history, the school has been selected as a California Distinguished School every year of eligibility, recognition as one of the best high schools in America by the U.S. News and World Report and a Magna Award winner by the American School Board Journal.
Requirements / Qualifications
1. Experience in English Language Development instruction and knowledge of one or more of the following languages/language group desirable: Chinese, Arabic, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, S.E. Asian, East Indian, or Ethiopian. 2. High school diploma or equivalent is required. 3. Resume 4. Cover Letter 5. (2-3) Recent Letters of Recommendations Instructional Assistants whose duties include instructional support must have: High school diploma or the equivalent and Two years of college (48 units), or A. A. degree (or higher), or Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction. Desirable Qualifications: Bilingual in Spanish is highly desirable. Some college coursework related to education is desirable.
