Requirements / Qualifications

Two (2) years supplemental coursework, training or trade school in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration repair that is equivalent to completion of an apprenticeship program for HVAC OR Two (2) years of journey-level HVAC and refrigeration repair experience. (MUST show on application in Education/Job History) 4. Contact Information for three (3) Professional References: current/former supervisors/coworkers - MUST be provided on application in professional references portion, please include email addresses. Not to be confused with the Letters of Recommendation, these are to be provided on the application itself. REQUIRED TO BE UPLOADED IN ATTACHMENTS: 1. A current Resume 2. Current DMV printout showing a valid CA Drivers License - can be obtained on DMV website (MUST be no greater than 30 days old) - please see link under "Links Related to this Job" for CA DMV Printout website 3. Two (2) Professional Letters of Recommendation from current/former supervisors/coworkers (both MUST have physical signature and be DATED within one year) - digital signatures not accepted 4. EPA Freon Handlers Certification required 5. Valid First Aid Certification required: NO online courses; NO BLS (basic life support - CPR/AED) cards as they do NOT include First Aid training** **can upload proof of registration (i.e. confirmation email or receipt) in an upcoming, in-person First Aid class in lieu of card Preferred Qualifications: 1. Valid CPR Certification (no online courses) Required Upon Hire: 1. Certificate stating freedom from Tuberculosis upon hire 2. Valid California Drivers License.
