Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Senior Director of Information Technology, work as a member of Carmel Unified School District’s Technology and Data Services Department to design, maintain, improve, and refine district’s computer systems, file storage, backup/recovery, and security. Perform complex network and systems troubleshooting for system hardware. Provide supervision to assigned staff including IT Support Specialists. Work closely with vendors, technical and administrative personnel acting as technical lead in network storage and security-related projects including evaluating, testing, and recommending new technologies and technology related procedures and policies. Work with site leaders to design, develop, and maintain the expanding computer systems, servers, and security needs. Stay abreast of developments in the field and be adaptive to meet the growing needs of information technology in the educational environment.
