Job Summary
The Instructional Learning Specialist enhances the educational experience of at-promise youth by building teacher capacity and deepening understanding of effective instructional practices. This role focuses on improving student outcomes through fostering a collaborative and innovative learning environment. Emphasizing strengths, collaboration, and addressing teaching practices, the Specialist ensures excellence in instruction through modeling, co-planning, and serving as a curriculum and instructional strategy resource. Additionally, the Specialist champions diversity, equity, and inclusion, and models culturally responsive pedagogy.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum of 3-5 years of successful teaching experience with a proven record of effective instruction Proven experience in instructional coaching, mentoring, or a related leadership role is preferred Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; Master’s Degree preferred Valid and current California teaching credential(Grades 9-12); Reading and Literacy Leadership Specialist Credential preferred Additional certifications in coaching or educational leadership are advantageous Valid California driver’s license Please send a cover letter and resume along with your completed application.

Salary: $74,263 - $95,063
Master's Stipend: $1,800
Doctorate Stipend: $2,000
