THE POSITION: The Coordinator III, Educational Technology, is a visionary leader orchestrating comprehensive educational technology initiatives across various educational echelons, including school districts, Community College districts, and other educational institutions. As the pinnacle of expertise in this domain, the Coordinator III directs and mentors a team dedicated to the meticulous planning and implementation of sophisticated professional development in educational technology. This eminent position entails collaboration with Los Angeles County personnel, district leaders, advisory groups, and policymakers to strategize and execute professional development endeavors. It is characterized by a profound comprehension of how educational technology can be woven into the curriculum and instructional design to elevate the educational experience significantly.
Requirements / Qualifications
EXPERIENCE: Five or more years of comprehensive and progressive educational consultation experience and/or classroom teaching experience, including at least two years in a leadership role, such as a school principal or director, particularly in an educational setting. Experience with computer science, esports, artificial intelligence, and/or coding is preferred. EDUCATION: Master’s degree in educational technology, learning technology, instructional design, liberal arts, curriculum and instruction, or a closely related field by one of the six regional accreditation associations as recognized by the Council on Postsecondary Accreditation. LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE: • Possess and maintain a valid California Teaching Credential (elementary or secondary) and • Possess and maintain a valid California Administrative Services Credential.
