Research and Data Analyst I The job duty statement below provides additional context for the scope of this position. Please note that within the Research and Data team, the R&D Analyst position may support activities related to assessment, in addition to the team’s shared responsibilities in the areas of accountability, data reporting, and more. • Provide direct support to sites for standardized testing completion including, but not limited to, CAASPP (Math, ELA, and Science), ELPAC, GATE, and PSAT/SAT. • Collaborate within the department and across other departments to ensure that student performance and progress is monitored and that departments and sites are reviewing outcomes to identify areas for improvement • Support the implementation of the district’s various accountability and progress monitoring systems including the District Progress Report, Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP), and student needs assessments. • Provide targeted support, including additional on-site training as needed, to schools that have been identified for state and/or federal support (i.e. ATSI/CSI) • Provide targeted data analysis and reporting support to priority programs such as LEAP (after school and summer programs) to ensure that students with identified needs are connected effectively to enriching and engaging opportunities • Evaluating and maintaining current summaries of student performance results, assessment progress, and other program outcomes across school sites

Education and Experience: Any combination equivalent to: Bachelor's Degree; three years of increasingly responsible experience in K-12 education or social science research, database management, or related field; or demonstration of proficiency in the knowledge and skills required for this position.
