California Private Teachers is seeking a full-time private teacher for a family primarily based in Palo Alto, CA. The family frequently travels (25% of the year) and the private teacher would be expected to travel with the family. The family has enrolled their two children (ages 7 & 9) in Wosley Hall Oxford courses. The children receive accreditation from this school, but the private teacher would have full autonomy when it comes to certain subjects. The private teacher would plan instruction that aligns with the Wolsey Hall curriculum, but also supplement and enrich the provided curriculum with experiential, project-based, and personalized learning. The private teacher will be responsible for developing curriculum, lesson planning, and providing enrichment opportunities for both children. While working in collaboration with the parents, Wosley Hall Oxford, and California Private Teachers, the private teacher must be able to foster an individualized, enlivening, and holistic educational experience.

· Develop and implement personalized curriculum aligned with Wosley Hall Oxford and each student's individual learning needs.
· Create engaging and interactive lessons across various subjects, fostering a love and curiosity for learning.
· Utilize diverse teaching strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
· Integrate global studies and immersive real-world experiences for student learning during times of travel.
· Assess each student's progress regularly and adjust instruction accordingly.
· Maintain open communication with parents and education specialists, ensuring a progressive and supportive learning experience.
Requirements / Qualifications
· Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's preferred) · Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience · Applicants must have experience teaching elementary and middle school math and science (STEM background preferred) · Applicants must currently reside or be willing to relocate/commute to the Palo Alto area to provide in-person instruction · Applicants must be willing and available to travel 25% of the year (mostly international) Please submit your credentials, transcripts, resume, cover letter, letter(s) of recommendation, and the contact information for (3) professional references.
