Job Summary
The position of Early Childhood Education (ECE) Assistant is done for the purpose of providing support to the instructional process by serving as an assistant to the teacher; following lesson plans and delivering group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborating with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues; and responding to a wide range of inquiries from student's parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress. Education required: High school diploma or equivalent. Must possess, or be eligible to obtain, a Child Development "Assistant" (or higher) Permit, which includes 6 units of ECE/CD courses with 3 units in Infant/Toddler.

The Preschool's are located on the Campo Elementary School campus in Campo, CA in Pine Valley, CA, and on the Potrero Elementary School Campus in Potrero, CA in the southeastern mountains of San Diego County, approximately 50 miles east of the city of San Diego.
