Under immediate supervision of the school principal and under the general direction of the District’s director of technology, plans and accesses the programs of the school’s library media center and implements media/computer library related skills and performs other duties as assigned.

Under immediate supervision of the school principal and under the general direction of the District’s director of technology, plans and accesses the programs of the school’s library media center and implements media/computer library related skills and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

Qualifications: Evidence of recent positive clerical/library experience, verbal and written skills which enhance the exchange of information; and special interest in children’s literature and community literacy. Graduation from high school or equivalent. Knowledge of the Dewey Decimal system; basic knowledge on computers, printers, and software applications; computer software related to the tracking of library and textbooks, circulation, cataloging, and report generation; working knowledge of office and media equipment; and overseeing the library budget.
