A valid California teaching credential, a valid California Administrative Services Credential and a Masters degree are required. A successful candidate must also possess a minimum of five years of successful teaching experience and demonstrated experience with English Learners.

The Principal, Adult Education serves as the educational leader and chief administrator responsible for the educational program, student achievement and performance, and overall operation of the Adult School program and sites; organizes, directs, evaluates and supervises Adult School staff; establishes and maintains effective relationships with students, staff and community organizations; and promotes a student-centered culture and program.
Offer of employment is contingent upon fingerprint clearance. There is a fee required by the Department of Justice, payable by the employer to process fingerprint clearance. Evidence that applicant is free from tuberculosis in accordance with Education Code 49406 is required.
