Requirements / Qualifications

DEFINITION: Under the supervision a site administrator, performs secretarial and clerical duties; relieves the supervisor of administrative detail; and does other clerical work as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bilingual: Read and write fluently in English and Spanish or other needed language. Experience: Two years clerical work. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of: Modern office methods, filing methods, calculator, operation of modern computer software and systems, good receptionist and telephone technique, good English and Spanish or other needed language usage, with accurate spelling, grammar and punctuation. Ability to: Type 45 wpm accurately, use standard office machines; meet public and work with students effectively. Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms of English and Spanish or other needed language. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students and staff.
