POSITION DESCRIPTION: The position of Director I, Supporting Inclusive Practices, under the direct supervision of Assistant Superintendent, Student Programs and Services, is responsible for overseeing the Supporting Inclusive Practices (SIP) project on a statewide level, including management, personnel supervision, and implementation of the overall SIP scope of work. The Supporting Inclusive Practices Director I will be the direct liaison to the El Dorado County Superintendent of Schools (EDCSS) SIP counterpart to provide services to districts throughout the state of California. This position is designated as a Certificated Management position and is part of the Management Leadership Team.

Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: A minimum of four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in an educational setting that would demonstrate exposure to and utilization of required skills, knowledge, and abilities in performing job-related duties and responsibilities. At least two (2) of the four (4) years must be in an administrative or supervisory capacity. Kind/type of experience as related to the described duties and responsibilities will be considered. REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field from an accredited college/university is required. A Master’s degree is desirable.
