The Occupational Therapist (Online Independent Study / Adult Students) is a credentialed professional whose primary objective is to be responsible for preventive measures that include observing and informally interacting with students remotely as required. Provides assessment and direct services related to sensory-motor development and other identified developmental needs; provides consultation related to sensory-motor development; provides direct and consultative occupational therapy services based upon needs determined through the individualized education plan (IEP) process; provides services to students and their families (if a minor student); participate in IEP meetings; consults with IEP teams; consults with school staff at the general education level and participate in the Student Support Team (SST) process; participate in regular meetings with the special education department team; provides therapy to students. *See Job Description for Minimum Qualifications
