ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THIS POSITION: - Coordinate, facilitate, and assist in oversight of the California Community Schools grant as Program Coordinator - Plans, organizes, and facilitates increased understanding and collective leadership for Community Schools including professional learning, workshops, communications, publications, and events - Researches, analyzes, compiles, and presents information and reports including all state reports related to implementation and progress of the Community Schools Partnership Program - Assists in program planning and organizing including assisting in defining program goals and objectives and developing procedures and processes - Coordinates with district and site-based personnel, support services and external agencies - Assigned to a lead role and assists in selecting staff, making work assignments, staff training, professional development, and evaluation of personnel assigned - Participates in or oversees the work of district programs and initiatives; identifies and resolves problems; monitors workflow; reviews and evaluates work products, methods, and procedures - Assists with seeking or administering state and federal grants and associated responsibilities such as reporting compliance, fiscal requirements, and program planning/implementation - Creates and maintains program records and files, including electronic and paper records and provide administrative support - Supports the integration of a comprehensive system of programs and services for students and families in each Community School through collaboration with district departments and site leaders. Attends meetings and serves as organizer or member of groups and committees associated with district programs and initiatives to assess assets and needs, and support efficient coordination of student and family supports - The Community Schools Program Coordinator may perform in a district level role and in support of community school site implementation
Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: - Master’s degree in Social Work or School Psychology or related social/behavioral field from an accredited college or university - Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Social Work or School Psychology preferred - Licensed Clinical Social Worker preferred Experience: - Two (2) years of experience in the educational setting, preferably Grades K-8 - Knowledge of recent developments, technologies, current literature, assessment instruments and evidence-based practices related to Multi-Tiered System of Support and Community Schools - Experience in planning, implementing, administrating, supervising, and evaluating programs - Experience working with community and school partners in a collaborative setting Personal Qualifications: - Demonstrates integrity, honesty, tact, diplomacy, and ethics - Demonstrates organizational skills and project development - Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills - Works well independently and in teams - Bilingual English/Spanish preferred - Valid CA Driver’s License ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THIS POSITION: - Coordinate, facilitate, and assist in oversight of the California Community Schools grant as Program Coordinator

Comments and Other Information
Salary: $7,265.00 - $8,465.00 per month
Pay will be prorated based on starting date
Where: District – Family Resource Center
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
When: 2024-2025 School Year
Workdays: 261 days per school year (12-month position)
