St. Pius X- St. Matthias Academy is seeking a full-time mathematics instructor for the 2026-2027 school year who can teach Precalculus, AP Precalculus, & AP Calculus. St. Pius X – St. Matthias Academy, located in Downey, California, offers a Catholic university experience for teenagers. We believe that a college education is a right rather than a privilege. Instructional staff members serve the school’s mission by facilitating daily meaningful learning experiences according to the school’s professional standards in planning, subject matter competency, curriculum and instruction, assessment, and professional development centered on the mission of St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related subject is required. Master’s degree and/or single subject credential preferred Three years of teaching high school students in the subject area is preferred. Preference is given to practicing Roman Catholics.
