Job Summary

Job Summary

Assignment includes 4 periods of culinary arts and 1 period of creative design. Creative design includes fashion costume design/sewing, interior, graphic, and industrial design.

Requirements / Qualifications

This position requires preferably a Career Technical Education Teaching Credential in Hospitality, Tourism and Recreation or a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Home Economics. If you are intern eligible, you MUST submit, along with your EDJOIN application, a letter with from your university (on letterhead), stating that you are intern eligible. If you will be obtaining your credential upon graduation or completion of your credentialing program during the months of late May, June/July, you MUST submit a letter from your university (on letterhead), stating that you are indeed on track to obtain your CTE, preliminary or intern credential.

Along with you application you must submit the following: Cover letter Resume Three recent letters of recommendation Copies of any credentials Copy of CBEST scores (California Basic Education Skills Test or basic exam scores from another state - Out of State Guide Copy of CSET tests (if applicable) Proof/Copy of EL Authorization Copies of transcripts If you are missing these documents, you will not be screened in.
