Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the direction of Special Education Teachers and the Director of Special Education, paraprofessionals at PCS assist and support instruction for students with disabilities in specialized and general education settings. This support includes presenting learning materials, facilitating learning activities with small groups or individual students, administering and scoring assessments, and collecting and recording data to document student progress toward goals outlined in Individualized Learning Plans (IEP). Paraprofessionals may also be called upon to collaborate with a variety of faculty and staff in support of learning, and to assist with whole school activities and student supervision, as needed.

Minimum Educational Requirement: 2 years (48 units) of college credit or Associate’s Degree.
