Vista High School is seeking a HEAD GIRLS SOFTBALL Coach for the 2024-2025 school year. The school is a large comprehensive high school of nearly 1900 students located six miles from the coast in beautiful north San Diego County. The school's athletic program has a long history of success and is hoping to continue its performance in SOFTBALL The Vista High School Girls Softball program is: *A member of San Diego County's Avocado League competing against Canyon Crest, Mission Vista, Oceanside, SDA and Sage Creek high schools. *A complete program including junior varsity and varsity levels of competition. Support & responsibilities for the HEAD Girls Softball Coach includes: Extra-duty salary compensation-(one stipend each, Varsity, JV) Fund Raising Practice planning & meet preparation Issuing uniforms and equipment. Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director. New softball field and facilities. The position requires the following qualifications: At least three years' experience in coaching high school Softball or a high level club. The ability to establish and maintain a competitive tradition in a climate that supports student success with high student expectations. The desire and ability to compete with area high schools in various CIF competitions including all CIF sanctioned tournaments and playoffs.
