Job Summary

Job Summary

Answers, screens, and routes incoming telephone calls; prepares recordings and maintains main phone line messaging; provides back-up phone coverage to other staff when needed; greets visitors, refers them to proper parties and offices and provides information and written materials to public; receives and routes district office mail, gathers information and prepares a wide variety of material, including inter-intra district transfer agreements, schedules, memoranda, reports, meeting agendas and bulletins; maintains a variety of office files and records; operates various office equipment; assists the superintendent's office with bulk mailings, duplication, and distribution of board materials. Assists the personnel department in a variety of duties.

This position serves as the Front Desk Receptionist for the District Office. Interviews are tentatively scheduled for June 5, 2024. Projected start date is July 1, 2024. Current RJUHSD employees interested in a lateral transfer or promotion must submit an application through EDJOIN for consideration. Current RJUHSD employees do not need to submit a letter of rec, resume, and letter of introduction.
