Requirements / Qualifications
DUSD is seeking highly experienced and qualified applicants to lead a dynamic organization in a high performing district. We are seeking applicants who reflect the growing diversity of our students and community. The person hired will be placed as an Assistant Principal at Dublin High School for the 2024-25 school year and will transfer to Emerald High School for the 2025-26 school year. As the District continues to build its enrollment at our new high school, Emerald High, enrollment at Dublin High will be reduced. This will necessitate moving this assistant principal position from Dublin to Emerald in the 2025-26 school year.
MATERIALS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Five years of certificated experience as a classroom teacher in a public school setting, preferably at high school/9-12 level, with increasing responsibilities at the site level. Multiple Subject or Single Subject Teaching Credential Required Valid California Administrative Services Credential Required Masters Degree Preferred Valid California Driver’s License ALL required documents must be attached.

Any offer of employment is subject to a criminal history check. Fingerprint clearance by the Department of Justice for the School District must be received prior to employment.
TB CLEARANCE:
Evidence of freedom from Tuberculosis dated within the preceding 60 days of start date is required.
COVID VACCINATION:
District policy requires employees to be fully vaccinated* against Covid-19 prior to employment. This policy allows employees to request approved exceptions for medical reasons or sincerely held beliefs.
