Job Summary

The Finance Director position works under the direction of the President. This position provides the President detailed financial forecasts that enables the President to further the school’s strategic plan, school goals and initiatives as outlined by the President. This position has oversight of and works in collaboration with the Accounting Manager to prepare financial forecasts and budgets. The Finance Director position takes care of the financial and endowment accounting for the Angela Merici and John Henry Newman Foundation, a foundation set up for the benefit of Cardinal Newman High School. This position provides detailed financial reporting to the Foundation’s board and coordinates the annual audits through the President and Accounting Manager. The Finance Director position is an exempt, 30-40 hours a week position.
