TOSA (Teacher on Special Assignment) ELD teacher/coach for 2024-25 school year PCN# 220078 Open to all PRJUSD Staff Only The function of this position is to provide ELD instruction to English Language Learners in order to increase each student's ability to speak the English language, ultimately to be reclassified as English proficient. Develops lessons and works with teacher cadres to provide a system of collaboration and instructional support. Works with teachers to analyze student learning outcomes and develop next steps for instruction. Assists teachers in engaging all students in learning and in checking for student mastery. Provides training institutes during non-teaching times such as summer, spring break, winter break, after school hours, and during the school day on identified strategies, skills, and instructional models
