Job Summary

Job Summary

Performs a variety of advanced-level technical and complex clerical and secretarial duties. This position requires the individual to have advanced organizational and computer skills to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities. This position supports the Induction Program, Director of Curriculum & Instruction, and the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction & Professional Development. The office of Curriculum, Instruction & Professional Development provides support to administrators and staff as it relates to instructional materials, technology and assessments for students. This department also focuses on teacher induction and mentoring as well as professional growth and development for staff in various educational career fields.

Requirements / Qualifications

This position requires advanced organizational and computer skills to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities. Requirements include: Twelfth grade education or its equivalent; Four (4) years of advanced secretarial or executive assistant experience; prefer typing at 60 words per minute; experience in use of office computer equipment and various software programs including developing and maintaining complex databases; correct usage of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation; and ability to learn, interpret, explain and apply knowledge of District policies, rules and regulations. Ability to work independently utilizing excellent organizational and judgment skills.
