Job Summary
POSITION: The specific work assignment may be itinerant and could require travel to different sites. Under supervision, secures Marin County schools’ property, buildings and related areas, and performs routine janitorial tasks such as cleaning classrooms, offices, and public areas, dusting, cleaning restroom facilities, and other typical duties, occasionally moving classroom and office furniture and equipment. Performs routine grounds keeping tasks such as maintaining shrubs, trees, and lawn. REQUIREMENTS: Evening work is required; ability to use janitorial equipment as needed; ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions, particularly as it pertains to security procedures, precautions, and emergency situations; ability to move and carry heavy office furniture and equipment. Valid California driver’s license. One year of recent custodial experience desired.

Valid California driver’s license. One year of recent custodial experience desired
