Requirements / Qualifications
SCOE Classified Application EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: Bachelor's degree in child/human development, sociology, social services or related field. One year of experience in child/human development, social services or a related field.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Some positions in this classification may be required to possess bilingual or biliterate skills in a designated second language. Must arrange own transportation. If using own vehicle in the course of employment, must provide *proof of insurance. *Valid California driver's license. If assigned to Head Start/Early Head Start, employee must complete agency sponsored family development certification within 18 months of hire or provide documentation of similar certification in social work, human services, family services counseling or a related field. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS: The following documents are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment: Department of Justice/FBI/CACI Fingerprint clearance, Tuberculosis Skin Test clearance & Pre-Employment Physical/Drug Screen clearance will be required prior to employment. Must be at least 18 years of age.

BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of a program administrator, specialize in recruiting and enrolling children and families within the full range of subsidized child care and development program options. Build/strengthen enrollment collaborations with the goal to serve the entire family and performs other related duties as required.
SPECIAL NOTE: This position may require second (2) interview for those chosen to move forward in the process.
BENEFITS: A Benefit Entitlement for health, dental and vision coverage is available for positions that are at least 4 hours per day. The amount of the entitlement is based on the number of hours worked per day.
