We are seeking dedicated individuals with a thorough understanding of college level mathematics and a passion for supporting students. There is currently one vacancy in the Math Department and one vacancy in the Black Collegians/Latino Center. The vacancy in the Black Collegians/Latino Center will focus on understanding the specific needs of African-American, Latino students and other groups experiencing equity gaps. Both positions are scheduled to work 40 hours per week, 11 months per year on the Santa Monica College Main Campus.

Requirements / Qualifications
Education Requirement: Associate’s degree or equivalent with at least 18 units of college coursework in mathematics, applied mathematics, or a related field. Experience Requirement: One year of experience tutoring students in mathematics. Education/Experience Equivalency: Experience and/or education of the same kind, level and amount as required in the minimum qualifications may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
