The Las Virgenes Unified School District is seeking TK-5 teachers who excel in the areas of student-centered instruction, collaboration, empathy, adaptability, and patience. All individuals applying should possess the potential to facilitate an engaging classroom environment, value real-world learning, and have a lifelong love of learning. Candidates must also have a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion and foster a learning environment that supports all students.
We expect that all applicants have the ability to address student social-emotional needs, build confidence within their students, and instill a growth mindset within their student population. Additionally, we are seeking teachers with strong abilities to integrate technology and the arts into their daily lesson planning.
