Valid teaching credential or Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPS). California teaching credential, California ELA1 Authorization, or CLAD certificate required. Must be NCLB compliant Attached credential copy must include DETAILED credential information including the document number, authorization code, authorization description, issue date and expiration date. Such copies can be obtained using the link provided to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing website through the “Secured Search” option “SUITABLE FOR FRAMING” VERSIONS AND EXPIRED COPIES OF YOUR CREDENTIAL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Master’s degree in education, education administration, counseling, social work, psychology or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning desirable. • At least three (3) years of experience working with students in a school setting. • Biliterate and bilingual desirable. Possession of a valid and appropriate California Driver’s License. Insurability by District liability carrier may be required. May be required to provide own transportation to sites during the day

The Instructional Specialist, Site Community Schools Lead, is responsible for executing the coordination of the California Community Schools Program Partnership grant.
The Instructional Specialist, Site Community Schools Lead will work alongside the district-based Community Schools Instructional Specialist(s) to implement the four pillars of the California Community Schools Framework:
1. Integrated Student Supports
2. Family and Community Engagement
3. Collaborative Leadership Practices for Educators and Administrators
4. Extended Learning Time and Opportunities
And the four cornerstone commitments of the California Community Schools Framework:
1. Assets-Driven and Strength-Based Practice
2. Racially Just and Restorative School Climates
3. Powerful, Culturally Proficient and Relevant Instruction
Shared Decision-Making and Participatory Practices
