Job Summary

The Guidance and Learning Specialist for grades TK-6 is responsible for creating a school environment that is supportive, inclusive, and respectful. Their primary goal is to promote the social and emotional well-being and academic success of all students. The Guidance and Learning Specialist works collaboratively with students, teachers, staff, parents, and the broader community to lead the implementation of programs that cultivate a positive school culture. Valid CA Administrative Credential or PPS Credential Extensive experience in education, including leadership roles focused on positive behavior support, student engagement, and school climate improvement. Strong understanding of restorative practices, social-emotional learning, and culturally responsive pedagogy. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and build strong partnerships within the school community. Commitment to equity, inclusion, and fostering a culture of belonging for all students.
