Under the direction of the Director, Educational Technology Services or other assigned administrator, the position in this classification manages information technology equipment, technology projects, and information systems hardware and software.

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems AND six (6) years experience in information technology which included two (2) years supervising or managing a staff of information technology professional level positions PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE One (1) year of Nortel experience and A+ Certification Possession of a Microsoft Systems Certified Engineer certificate Experience implementing a WAN for a school district, public or private sector medium to large organization LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid California Class C driver's license and driving record sufficient to meet the District’s insurance carrier’s requirements are required. Incumbent will be involved in field work which requires travel in personal vehicle to various sites.
